During the past year, NHS Information Technology continued to make strides in services offered to our employees. The Avatar Electronic Health Record (EHR), with its ongoing integration throughout the company, helped NHS achieve Meaningful Use for many of our eligible physicians. As part of the federal Meaningful Use program, NHS can receive funds for utilizing an EHR to capture a client's medical information. As Avatar continues to grow as our primary EHR, additional funding will become available. During the past year, Avatar continued to be implemented across NHS.
