Opportunities - Autism Transition Program
Sean Bosken, NHS Human Services Foundation Board member, celebrates his 5th Anniversary Race for NHS Schools. Over the past 5 years Sean, whose son, Matty, is diagnosed with autism, has raised $61,000 through his IRONMAN triathlon 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run.

The IM for Matty funds have allowed our schools to expand their prevocational curriculum and training of our students. Through those funds we have been able to purchase levels 1, 2 and 3 of prevocational bins and a job survival skills curriculum to pilot at one of our sites. The training that fourteen of our students have received as part of their transition program has provided them with the opportunity to receive a paycheck from NHS. It is the hard work and generosity of the IM for Matty funds that helps guide our students into adulthood. Sean is our IRONMAN!
