Financials

Fiscal year 2014 was another outstanding year financially for NHS. Operating revenues for the fiscal year increased to over $500 million. This total increase over the previous year was due to continued growth of certain services, including education and out of state services. The continued rollout of the electronic health record and the extensive conversion to a comprehensive outsourced model for human resources were also among the highlights of the fiscal year. These investments in technology will allow NHS to continue to lead the way in our industry for both serving our consumers and our employees. NHS also successfully completed three financing transactions during FY2014, completing a two year strategy to solidify the debt portfolio of NHS for several years to come. We look forward to FY2015, when we will update the NHS strategic plan, to make sure that we use the financial resources available to us in the most effective and productive manner.
